What is the lifetime of the wall bed mechanism?

Our wall bed mechanisms are designed and manufactured with a minimum lifespan of 10 years. With proper care, their lifetime can be significantly extended. In fact, some of our 35-year-old beds are still safely used on a daily basis. The only component that may require replacement is the gas spring, which typically needs renewal every 7 years depending on usage conditions.

Can the bed open or close by itself?

No. All our wall beds use gas spring mechanisms that operate only when manual force is applied. The bed cannot open or close on its own without user interaction.

How long will delivery take in Ireland?

Delivery times depend on stock levels and the finish you choose, but as a guide you can usually expect your wall beds to arrive within a few weeks. When you place your order, we will give you a clear estimated delivery window and keep you updated.

What about warranty and aftercare?

The wall beds are covered by a 10 year manufacturer's warranty on the structure. 7 years lifetime warranty on the gas springs. On top of this, Areiva Furniture provides local support if you ever have a question about care, finishes or performance.

How often does the product require technical service?

Under normal usage conditions, regular technical maintenance is not required. Only the gas springs may need replacement approximately every 7 years.
