The Multimo Royal Double 160 Wall Bed combines a generous queen size sleeping area with the elegance and efficiency of a premium fold away furniture system. During the day, the bed closes neatly against the wall to maximise available floor space. At night, it opens into a comfortable bed designed for everyday or guest use.

Its balanced gas spring system assists the movement of the bed, while the soft close function helps reduce sudden motion and vibration. The mechanism is concealed behind protective plastic covers, creating a cleaner appearance while keeping the technical components discreetly enclosed.

With its modular compatibility, optional upholstered headboard, cordless lighting and exclusive high gloss finish option, the Royal Double 160 can be personalised to create a beautifully coordinated bedroom or multifunctional living space.

Smooth and Controlled Operation

The Royal Double 160 uses a balanced gas spring mechanism to support the weight of the bed during opening and closing. This provides smooth, controlled movement and makes the transition between daytime and night-time configurations more convenient.

The soft close feature helps prevent abrupt movement and reduces vibration as the bed is operated.

Durable Construction

The wall bed combines durable metal components with E1 quality melamine coated particle board. The side, top and bottom panels are 30 mm thick, creating a strong and substantial cabinet structure.

High gloss MDF is available in the Dafne colour only. Within the Multimo collection, the Royal Series is the only product group offering a high gloss material option.

Slatted Mattress Base

The Royal Double 160 features a supportive slatted mattress base designed to distribute weight across the sleeping area while promoting airflow beneath the mattress.

Integrated belts keep pillows and the duvet securely positioned while the bed is closed, reducing the need to store bedding separately.

Multimo Gold Spring Mattress Included

The Royal Double 160 includes a Multimo Gold Spring Mattress specifically selected for this wall bed.

Optional Headboard and Lighting

The upholstered Royal Headboard (530) is available separately.

• One headboard covers the lower half of the back panel.
• Two headboards are required to cover the complete back panel.

Remote controlled cordless lamps are also available as an optional addition, providing convenient lighting without visible wiring.

Solid Wall Requirement

The Royal Double 160 must be secured to a structurally suitable solid wall.

Suitable wall types include:

This product is not suitable for installation directly onto plasterboard or drywall partitions. The wall must be assessed before delivery and assembly are arranged.

The Royal Double 160 Wall Bed must be assembled and securely installed by experienced professionals using the correct tools and equipment. Professional assembly usually takes approximately 6 to 8 hours, depending on access, wall construction and the selected configuration.

If the customer assembles, disassembles or reinstalls the product themselves, or uses an inexperienced installer, the manufacturer’s warranty will become void. This condition does not affect the customer’s statutory rights.
